Love OVER Fear

April 20, 2015

“O Allah! If I worship You for fear of Hell, burn me in Hell, and if I worship You in hope of Paradise, exclude me from Paradise. But if I worship You for Your Own sake, grudge me not Your everlasting Beauty." - Rabia Al Basri That is one powerful quote.

Instagram post 2192258620547177283_2204079074 As you make dua, truly remind yourself that Allah is above:⁣
⁣
1. Time⁣
2. Money/ Resources ⁣
3. Circumstances⁣
⁣
Allah doesn’t need a ‘time frame’ to create your duas. It can happen immediately. Allah is not limited in His Power and Might. Your resources of time, money and labour might look restricted but it’s not. There is no limit whatsoever to what Allah can give you. And there is no circumstance too great for Allah to change.⁣
⁣
Absolutely nothing in these worlds is beyond Allah ✨
⁣
This doesn’t mean that you won’t have setbacks or limitations but that when you stand before Allah, those limitations mean nothing. After all, you’re speaking to the King of Kings.⁣
⁣
It means that your current reality doesn’t define your future. That what you see out there doesn’t weaken your trust in Allah and your faith in knowing that Allah can make a way out for you (regardless of what happens out there).⁣
⁣
It’s less about looking out there for reassurance and more about looking within and reminding yourself of who you’re talking to 💗✨⁣
Instagram post 2166893752822538486_2204079074 Do you feel sad or low after making dua? 💗⁣
⁣
I harp on about pouring your heart into your duas as it helps with releasing any stored emotions. You pour your heart into you duas. You tell Allah everything. Yet what if you still feel low instead of uplifted? Sad instead of feeling like a weight has been lifted off your shoulder?⁣
⁣
Here's the thing, when you feel worse after making dua, there's a good chance that it's opening a can of worms. ⁣
⁣
A can of unwanted emotions, buried feelings, unhelpful thought patterns that have been avoided and pushed away for so long. ⁣
⁣
Your duas happen to crack open that sea of repressed emotions buried all along.⁣
⁣
Your duas, telling Allah everything, facing your fears, sitting with the emotional turmoil sometimes opens that can of worms. But the can of worms is still there whether you open it or not. (Something my life coach recently taught me!)⁣
⁣
Yes it feels crappy.⁣
⁣
Yes you feel like running far away from it.⁣
⁣
Yes you can even feel like your duas aren't supporting you.⁣
⁣
But it's only shining a light to what is already within you.⁣
⁣
It's shining a light on the wounds that need be heard, healed and released.⁣
⁣
So yes it can feel crappy at times. Those unsettling emotions and limiting thoughts need to come forth. They need to be heard to be challenged and released.⁣
⁣
You can't keep fear, desperation, neediness, anger within without it chipping away at your own soul.⁣
⁣
You can mask it with positivity. "Yeah that's not me. Alhumdulilah I'm good". But when the can is cracked open, that spiral of 'positivity' unravels very quickly.⁣
⁣
Emotional strength doesn't come from just being happy all the time. The sourness in a lemonade makes it taste much better than sugared water ;) #cheesy⁣
⁣
If this is you, ask yourself "What are my duas here to teach me?" Is it making you a better woman? Your dreams and duas are here to strengthen you. It's not just about receiving your duas but also the journey in which you become the woman who can emotionally sustain all that your heart desires. Yes Allah can give it right now but can you sustain it? ⁣
⁣

Instagram post 2161810396674200814_2204079074 The most important work you'll ever do is on yourself 💗⁣
⁣
It's strengthening your relationship with Allah, your self-love, amping up your self-worth, giving yourself permission to receive all that your heart desires, healing wounds from the past that are holding you back today.⁣
⁣
The inner work that you do for yourself is the biggest factor that will determine your happiness, success and abundance. There is no business plan, fitness boot camp, pregnancy app, the perfect partner, no strategy or external people/ circumstances that can replace your inner well-being.⁣
⁣
You can't outsource your self-love.⁣
⁣
It's not the business plan that makes the entrepreneur successful.⁣
⁣
It's not the perfect spouse that makes the marriage work.⁣
⁣
It's not the intense finesses plan that facilitates your dream body.⁣
⁣
It's not the baby tech gadgets that makes a mother thrive.⁣
⁣
It's you ✨ The woman behind all those things. It's your energy. Your beliefs. Your mindset. The way you think of Allah. The way you persist regardless of the setbacks.⁣
⁣
Nourishing your soul is the most important work you'll ever do. There is no strategy, apps or plans that can replace it.⁣
⁣
You. Are. So. Important. 💗⁣

Instagram post 2153946001042565502_2204079074 The willingness to heal, release + grow from whatever Allah has given you matters in your duas. Allah could give you every desire you have in an instant. Everything could happen immediately. ⁣
⁣
But you wouldn't be able to sustain it. ⁣
⁣
You'd lose it very quickly, mess it up or push them away.⁣
⁣
That's why the healing journey matters so much. Allah is not only preparing you to get there but to keep it. To sustain it. To cherish it for a lifetime. ⁣
⁣
Are your duas making you a better woman? Is this strengthening your connection with Allah? Are you willing to heal? Are you becoming happier, lighter, more radiant and glowy each day? Are you learning to trust Allah even more than ever? 💗⁣
⁣
When your duas are supporting you into becoming a happier woman, emotionally stronger, freer, less attached to the outcome, more easy going and loving... that's how you know you're on the right track. Allah doesn't delay an answer for no reason. You have to tie your camel and do your part. ⁣
⁣
You have to up level. ⁣
⁣
Your part includes healing what's happening within you ✨⁣

Instagram post 2106103012400391271_2204079074 Your dream dua/ the next stage of your life requires the next level version of you, are you showing up as her? ✨⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Emotionally + physically + energetically + are you embodying the kind of woman who has her deepest dua's come to life? ✨⁣⁣
⁣⁣
💗 If you want to get married, are you actually ready for it? It's time to throw away those scruffy pyjamas, amp up your self-care and carry yourself as a married woman. Why? Because it's a leap of faith. It's showing Allah with your actions that you're open and ready to receive your soul mate. What would you do differently as a married women? You'd feel emotionally secure, you'd take care of yourself better, you'd release any fears/ emotional wounds that hold you back from being vulnerable and loving to your husband. That's how you want to show up today. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
💗 If you want financial abundance, are you avoiding your bank account? Are you thanking Allah daily for all the money and provisions that come into your life? Do you respect the money that you do have? (i.e. by not throwing it away on things that you don't even want or being careless with it). What would the sassy, feminine, financially abundant queen within you do? She'd appreciate her wealth (be it through herself or others). She'd give and invest without fear because she knows that Allah is providing for her. She'd show up for her work. She wouldn't be bother about what people think. Are you showing as the woman who can receive and sustain the kind of money she wants? ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
💗If you want to radiate love and be emotionally free, are you still binging on reality TV dramas? Are you following social media dramas about so and so influencer? One of the very feminine qualities that I love so much is the quality of being care free, easy going. Where you're genuinely not interested in other people's lives. You're doing your own thing, fluttering in your own lane. Not a care in the world. The energy where nobody can hurt or interrupt your peace of mind because you have Allah... Continued in the comments below ✨
Instagram post 2096053280969875776_2204079074 It's not about "if" Allah will answer you. Or "if" Allah will make it happen for you. Because that will forever be outside of your knowledge and influence. It's about trust.⁣
⁣
Do you deeply, truly trust that Allah can make it happen for you? ✨⁣
⁣
Can you hold that faith even if you see no sign of it happening?✨⁣
⁣
Can you wait lovingly as your dua comes to life?✨⁣
⁣
Can you deeply appreciate where you are today without desperately longing for the future?✨⁣
⁣
The question of if/ how and when is not for you. It's not up to you. So you can relax, take a deep breath and drop that 2019 deadline ;)⁣
⁣
What is within your influence is your certainty, releasing your fears and doubt, amping up your self-love, thinking the best of Allah, tuning into your intuition and knowing that Allah will guide you step by step (the how will come!), deeply surrendering and letting go of needing it to happen right this moment (or this year). ⁣
⁣
It will come. It will happen in the most beautiful way. ⁣
⁣
You have to focus more on your part. On your healing. On your journey. On your connection with Allah. On your emotional freedom. On becoming the woman to can receive and sustain this beautiful dua and dream in her life. ⁣
⁣
And focus less (or don't focus at all) on the circumstances, your past experiences, the timing, logistical possibilities, physical limitations, how it will happen, other people's opinions, whether Allah decrees this or not... do I sound like a crazy person to you? Good.😆Because at times you'll need a crazy amount of blind faith and trust in Allah. Where the only thing that gives you hope and certainty is within - your trust in Allah. ⁣
⁣
I hope this post inspires you to work on yourself, to become that beautiful, radiant woman whose able to receive all that she desires. Where your heart is attached to nothing of this world but open to all. If you would like further 1-1 support, check out my coaching programs here: http://www.inspiredandfabulous.org/work-with-me/ or follow the link in the bio💗⁣✨💃🏻
Instagram post 2094483267561668954_2204079074 Whenever I speak to young girls about getting married and ask them about their goals, I always hear a Tumblr inspired, fairytale response:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
“Oh I can’t wait to pray tahajjud together”⁣⁣
⁣⁣
“We’re going to study Islam together”⁣⁣
⁣⁣
“He’s going to teach me the deen” heheh 😉⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Sweet? Absolutely, so sweet. Is that why people get married? No honey, no. There are so many parts to a person’s character. A relationship flourishes when an individual can express all parts of themselves without you thinking any less of them. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Understand that the most practising husband is going to have days where he just wants to relax and enjoy time with you. Or how the happiest, sweetest woman is going to have days where she’s in a crappy mood and that’s okay. If you want to give love, welcome all parts of them 💗⁣
